Level 2 Charger
The most common and efficient charging option for your residence or workplace. Level 2 charging delivers a charge of either 220 or 240 Volts with a rate of up to 25 miles per hour. The Level 2 can deliver a full charge throughout the course of the workday or full night’s sleep. However, if you don’t have time you can receive a minimal re-charge within an hour.
Level 2
Level 2 chargers require additional equipment and utilize 240V outlet, just like a washing machine. Level 2 charging is available at public charging stations for a fee based upon kWh used. Level 2 chargers typically take 3-8 hours to fully charge. For every hour that you charge you get about 20 miles.

DC Fast Charger/Public Level 3 Charger
DC Fast charging is the most convenient way to charge your electric vehicle with fast charging capability. If you would like to charge your EV fast to up to 80% capacity in under 30 minutes, Level 3 Public DC Fast Charging is for you. It takes seconds to plug in, then allows you to shop, eat or relax for 30-60 minutes and return to your EV with nearly a full charge. Public level 3 DC Fast Charging is convenient.
DC Fast Charger
DC Fast chargers are typically available at commercial sites and along highways. Depending on battery size, in around 20-30 minutes DC Fast chargers can charge some EVs up to 80%. Each hour adds approximately 100 miles of driving range.

Level 2 Chargers and DC Fast Chargers are both EV Charging Levels. They are both meant to help you with your vehicles. Although some chargers may take longer to charge, it is for the benefit of you and your battery electric vehicle (BEV).
